Pressed Plates or Leaves

2 Part Workshop Dates:  

Thursday, June 12th and June 26th

Both Class Times:  6:00 - 8:00 PM

NL Pottery will be teaching this workshop at I Heart Art Studios.  

Our first workshop will be learning the process of hand building a pressed plates or leaf plates. Each attendee will receive a slab of clay to create up to 4 plates with.  NL Pottery will have a selection of patterns and designs and will teach us how this process works.  You are welcome to bring in leaves (hasta leaves work perfectly for a larger plate) and little leaves are fun to press into the plates too.

Your creations will stay at the studio and will be fired by NL Pottery.  During our second class, we'll glaze our pieces using a variety of colors and techniques based on the styles you prefer. Beginners are welcome however youth should be at least…
